FUJI FEATHER, a pioneer of fixie bikes th...

Let's talk about something that happened 15 years ago, or almost 20 years ago.
Many fashion magazines such as SAMURAI, Ollie, and BOON were paying attention to Harajuku. T19 led by Hiroshi Fujiwara and Otaki, and other icons of the town called "Urahara".
Until then, wearing oversized clothes and skating around town was the common way to express the city's streets. However, it is no exaggeration to say that this common sense has been overturned with the advent of the fixie bike culture.
Thin frame, short handle, and coloring that you have never seen before.
There's something like a postcard stuck in the wheel, and they're playing tricks with it.
And it doesn't have brakes! LOL In an era when people didn't have as many opportunities to watch videos as they do now, it was a huge shock, even if it was only on paper.
I immediately went to a local bicycle shop with a friend, but they couldn't find this. Fixie bikes aren't sold anywhere. There are road bikes that are full-fledged racers, and mom's bikes and cross bikes that focus on city riding. No, I want a flashy and stylish fixie bike, even if it's beat up.
As I mentioned in the opening story, it was nearly 20 years ago, that Harajuku was the origin (probably lol) of the heyday of track bikes. At a time when single speed bikes were in the minority, most piste bikes were custom made from used NJS frames used in bicycle racing.
*The photo shows T19 custom-made KALAVINKA. I'm looking for it, so if you have it please contact me lol
I don't know where they got it from, but I wanted to get the NJS frame that those guys were riding.
That's where I met FEATHER, which I'd like to introduce to you today.
I found this at Cyclery in Seibu Shinjuku, and I remember going there almost every day after my part-time job.
Here I found the `` slender'', ``simple'', and ``single gear'' used feathers that I was looking for. I bought this right away, and tried various customizations.
Sometimes I take everything apart and paint it, I get mysteriously addicted to alumite parts, and I cut the steering wheel to the limit. I also have fond memories of practicing a trick called skid like crazy.
I was nervous so I went to CARNIVAL and W-BASE in Harajuku, and thanks to the launch of LOOP MAGAZINE, I was able to learn about the culture of things like Messenger.
---I never thought the day would come when I would be able to carry FEATHER, which is full of love and memories, in my own store. I seriously want you to forgive me for getting a little romantic when I'm alone. Lol The story at the beginning is longer than usual, but I'll try to introduce the selling points.
COLOR Matte Black / Foggy Forest / Bloody Red / Rotten Tree
SIZE 43cm / 49cm / 52cm / 54cm / 56cm / 58cm

・Anyway, the cost performance of the completed car is less than 100,000 yen, which is attractive!

This goes without saying. In any case, the attractive pricing is as it has always been.
Even with a key and light, you can purchase it for less than 100,000 yen. How many great achievements have been made in this fixie bike culture by adhering to this? If it wasn't for this FEATHER, I don't think single speed cars would have become the majority. I'm sure many people have ridden this FEATHER since those days.

-The standard truck drop handle provides unprecedented driving comfort.

First of all, I want you to enjoy your sports bike. In such cases, the only option is a drop bar.
The current trend is flat bars, and single speed bikes are becoming more diverse. Although there are various ways to set it up, I still remember the thrill of riding a drop bar piste for the first time. Up until then, I had only ridden bicycles on my mom's bike, but I was in a forward leaning position. Even just lightly playing around town gave me a feeling of superiority. LOL Flat bars and bullhorns are good, but I would like you to try this drop bar first. There will be things you have never felt or seen before.

・The range of customization is infinite!

Let's ride with a normal complete car as it is dropped! Having said that, I still want to customize it. LOL FUJI FEATHER is also attractive because it is highly compatible with fixie bike parts on the market. Most parts sold at BROTURES can be customized. However, please feel free to ask me about the handle! It's a bit of a unique standard, and it's thin at 25.4mm. Since the car body has good cost performance, it is likely to become popular as a custom base. Add a T3 carbon wheel to the front or customize it to a fixed gear.

- All-black finish that goes well with any fashion.

This is surprisingly absent. FEATHER's simple looks are appealing both now and in the past.
The black completed car shown in this photo has only the logo and head patch in the same color. He truly understands the feelings of piste users when it comes to eliminating waste to the utmost. This allows it to be used regardless of fashion or occasion.
I like all the colors in the 2024 lineup, but personally I also love Rotten Tree.

-A wide variety of sizes are available, so people of all ages can enjoy it.

As stated in the size chart, the lineup ranges from 43cm for the bottom to 58cm for the top. This is actually quite rare, and even if you look around at the BROTURES piste, you'll only find LEADER 725TR.
Women under 150cm can ride, and men around 190cm can also ride.
I have nothing but gratitude to FUJI for working hard from the user's perspective in this area as well.
Even if you've given up on not finding a bicycle that suits your physique, there's a possibility!
We would like to introduce these five items as "Feather's Recommendations" .
I'm really really happy that FEATHER is in BROTURES. Chest fever! lol
Let's start a new fixie bike!
Get around in your new life on a cool bicycle.
Thanks to FEATHER, I feel like more people will be able to enjoy cycling in the future.
Thank you FUJI! Thank you FEATHER! lol
It is available at BROTURES Harajuku store, Yokohama store and Kichijoji store.
