Parts Display Expansion Plan ~Riser Bar E...

As some of you may know, we have actually updated the layout of the store next to the blog a little.

The biggest change is the expansion of the parts display .

Since I have the opportunity, I'll show you a little bit.

Like this.

It's fun to go to a store that has a lot of parts, whether it's a bicycle shop or not.

I feel like recently there has been a rise in the number of people who are interested in customization.

While you're here, I hope you'll take the time to look at lots of options, choose, and use them.

We are currently planning to expand our parts lineup, so we would like to take this opportunity to introduce it to you.
Today it's riser bars.

Even though they are called riser bars, they come in a variety of shapes.
Roughly speaking, it's something like this.

The rise height and backsweep angle are just so different.
In the photo, the top is high rise and the bottom is low rise.

For example, the top one, NITTO B802 AAF-SSB riser bar

In addition to a high rise similar to the NITTO B801, it is designed with a strong back sweep.

"I want to ride comfortably with my upper body as upright as possible."
"I want comfort more than speed."
I would recommend this riser bar to people like that.

In addition, since your upper body and head are raised, your field of vision is expanded, allowing you to ride safely.

The handle is wide, but you can still cut the bar, so I think it's easy to use even for women.

The clamp system is also available in a 25.4mm version.
It might also be good to pair it with something like BLANKS.

Next is the NITTO B809AA SSB Riser Bar, second from the top .

Compared to the B802 mentioned earlier, the rise is lower and the backsweep is smaller.
It's easy to apply force, but you can also raise your upper body to a certain extent, allowing for a relaxed ride.

Personally, I like this rise height the most because if the rise is too high it's difficult to put force into the board and it's directly exposed to the wind.

There are similarly shaped handlebars made by DMR, a British MTB manufacturer.
The way the logo is incorporated is also cool, so it makes a great accent for your design.

By the way, the B809 also comes in a model called "CROSS" with a clamp diameter of 25.4 mm.
I think it goes well with CHAMP and FUJI FEATHER, which we recently started carrying.

Next up is BROTURES WIDE LOW RIZER, second from the bottom.

by BROTURES WIDE LOW RISER

A low rise bar.

With a slight rise and back sweep, you feel stable, but your upper body leans forward.
The handlebar shape allows you to feel the acceleration even with the riser bar.

It has a great look and I think it's the best riser bar for fixed gear bikes.

Handles with a similar shape include the popular NITTO for SHRED BAR and THOMSON handles.

THOMSON CARBON RISER BAR

Finally, the bottom handle.
This is a so-called flat bar with no rise.
Since we have the opportunity, we would like to introduce this as well.

THOMSON CARBON FLAT BAR

I think most flat bars have a moderate amount of backsweep .

Some handles have extremely strong backsweep, but be careful as if it's too strong it can make it difficult to turn.

Since there is no rise, your riding posture will be leaning forward, and if you feel that the riser bar is not enough for you, using a flat bar will give you a better sense of acceleration.

The silhouette is also stylish, so it has a large number of users.

Some of the classics include THOMSON above, NITTO B861 SLAT BAR, and DOSNOVENTA FALAT BAR.

So, roughly speaking, I would like you to choose a riser handlebar based on these differences.

It depends on how well it works with the vehicle body and what the balance is, so I recommend trying it out on your own car.

This is all we have, so please feel free to pick one up.

I also wanted to talk about brake parts, but it's getting too long, so I'll save that for next time.

As the temperature rises and summer gradually approaches, why not take this opportunity to try out riser bars for a more relaxed ride?
