My partner in the race is MONARCH

Hello, this is Kazu.

Just recently, there was a lot of trouble.
For the first time in my life, I ate insects.
I'm not sure if it's edible either, as the larvae were found inside a liquor bottle.
It was a tiny one, like the snake in snake sake, so chewing it made me feel sick and I swallowed it, but is that okay?
They don't pupate and then emerge, or become adults inside your stomach, right?
If anyone has had a similar experience please get in touch.

Now, to the main topic.

TYRANT BIKES MONARCH complete bike ¥242,000-INTAX

Today, unlike my usual custom blog, I'll be focusing a bit on frames.
MONARCH is a product of the TYRANT BIKES president SAL's passion and is a culmination of his manufacturing experience.
As some of you may know, he visited Japan around October last year, and I had the opportunity to speak with him in person.
This frame is perfect for city riding as well as racing.
So, in what way can we say that?

The top tube is not a regular round tube but has a unique shape.
However, the down tube is a large diameter round pipe.
Each design is designed to maximize the power of the rower.
I often hear people say that the down tube is quite thick, so the frame weight is heavy, but
The butted process makes the tube thinner in the center and thicker at both ends, which are subject to stress.
This results in a frame that is lighter than its appearance.

In addition, MONARCH has a higher BB height compared to other brands, resulting in a frame design that provides good start-up and acceleration performance.
I have almost no racing experience, but Ginga, a Brosaka staff member who also participated in the previous sfiDARE, said that the specs in this area are particularly important.
Acceleration after losing speed during a start or on a hairpin curve.

It is packed with elements that will come in handy in races.
I guess that's what it must be like for someone who has actually raced many times.
Seeing is believing, as they say.

If you have read this far, you may be thinking that this is a frame that excels in racing.
I understand the thought that it may be overkill for city driving.
Now, this is just my opinion, but I don't think so at all.
Even if you don't intend to race it, it's better if it's easy to ride and handle for everyday riding around town.
Of course, it's important for races, but even when riding around town, if the frame is difficult to ride and doesn't move forward, it can be stressful.
The above specs will come in extremely handy for making your everyday travels more comfortable.

One of the great things about fixed gear bikes is the freedom they give.
I think it's best to customize it to suit the rider.
Finally, a custom sample.
Here is an explanatory video from Fujimoto, who got involved with MONARCH after SAL came to Japan!
Please feel free to use this as a reference.
