Learn well and play well. BROTURES KICHIJ...

It's been a while since I've done an interview blog with a model.

This time, KAITO, a customer at the Kichijoji store and a skater, agreed to take our photo.

Learn well and play well. BROTURES KICHIJOJI INTERVIEW” vol.5

[KAITO]

Born in Sakai City, Osaka Prefecture. 24-years-old. university student.
My hobbies are muscle training and self-cooking (my life depends on how fluffy my fried rice is.)
Shops I often go to Instant / Home Planet / Tako-chan's favorite car is the LEADER®︎ 721TR.

-How did you start riding piste?

We first met when I was in junior high school when my father's friend gave me a fixie bike.

Up until then, I had only ridden mama's bikes, and I hadn't started skateboarding yet, so I was impressed by the speed and movement that only a fixed gear bike could provide.

I also like how simple and cool it looks.

-How long have you been skateboarding?

I started skateboarding in high school, but it wasn't until I came to Tokyo that I started skating properly.

There's a skateboard shop called instant in Kichijoji, and I had more opportunities to meet other skaters of my generation there, and I think I've improved a lot since we started skating together.

After all, the level of local skaters in Tokyo is high, and we can exchange all kinds of information, so it's fun.

-How do you usually move? ? (about)

Basically, I'm a student, so I'm at school. (lol)

I have several part-time jobs , but the one I'm most excited about is space decoration work.
I was invited by a crew member I met when I was working part-time to decorate wedding halls, and now I 'm helping out with the decorations for various events.

The way I express myself changes drastically from scene to scene, so it's always fun to make new discoveries and surprises.

Put WALD's basket on ADEPT's front rack.

Not only can it be used to easily carry luggage, but by combining it with a rubber strap, it can also be used to carry skateboards.

The handle has been customized with a wide riser bar, so it does not impair maneuverability even when carrying heavy boards.

■Postscript of the interview

Although KAITO-kun is from a different hometown than the author, in this interview I felt a strong sense of hunger that naturally made me want to support him as a member of the Tokyo-based group.
I overcame the loneliness and anxiety of moving to Tokyo alone, away from my family and friends, and became a full-fledged university student, enriching my private life through skateboarding and fixie bikes.
Instead of just working part-time, I find what I want to do and work hard at it.
Learn well and play well.
I was impressed that KAITO's attitude of seriously facing whatever he decided to do, whether it was play or work, was connected to his strength as a person.

It's also nice that LEADER's fixie bikes are among the things that support this lifestyle.

Photography cooperation / instant Kichijoji store (open11:00~close20:00)

The forefront of the Kichijoji street scene.

A pro shop that carries a variety of skateboard-related items and caters to the needs of any skateboarder, from beginners to professional riders.

The carefully selected apparel lineup, including TIGHTBOOTH , is also attractive.
