Who should buy the new ALLDAY CRANK?

by BROTURES ALLDAY CRANK released this month.
This is a real product that embodies the wishes of the BROTURES staff.

Who is it actually recommended for?
We will introduce ALLDAY CRANK along with its features.

In conclusion, the people I would most recommend ALLDAY CRANK to are...

This is a person who still uses the original crank of the completed car! !

I would like to dig deeper into the reasons for this from two perspectives.

1. Good chainring accuracy

This is not limited to cranks, but for better or for worse, genuine parts for completed cars often come with reasonably priced parts to keep costs down.
Regarding the genuine crank chainring, the surface was not exposed,
It's a three-dimensional round because it's not a perfect circle.

If you have ever done maintenance such as replacing wheels or chains, or lubrication, you will understand.
With genuine parts, the chain tension tends to be uneven in areas where the chain is slack and areas where it is not.

Actually, this causes a lot of power loss.
On that point, the chain ring that comes with ALLDAY CRANK has high precision for its price, so you can pedal smoothly.
Since the material is hard aluminum with part number 7075, it converts the force of stepping into propulsive force.

Well then, you should just customize the chainring of the genuine crank.
That's what it looks like.
The trouble is that it's not that simple.

2. Easy to finely adjust gear ratio

I think you have understood from what I said earlier that it seems better to replace the chainring on the genuine crank.
What are the benefits of replacing chainrings?

・Parts upgrade
- Gear ratio can be finely adjusted

It's there.

The gear ratio is determined by the number of teeth on the chainring divided by the number of teeth on the cog.
For example, the genuine LEADER 721TR has a gear ratio of 48T ÷ 16T and 3.0.
If you feel like it's a little too heavy for you, you can reduce the gear ratio to make your pedaling lighter.
Just a 0.1 difference in gear ratio can make a big difference in the feel.
If you only replace the cog, you won't be able to make fine adjustments to the gear ratio, so you will need to replace the chainring.

The issue here is the chainring standard.
There are roughly two types of standards for piste chainrings.

High precision chainrings sold individually are all standard PCD144.
However, most genuine cranks are PCD130 and are not compatible.

You want to use highly accurate chainrings or you want to finely adjust the gear ratio.
I would be hesitant to replace it with a crank that costs 60,000 to 90,000 yen just for that purpose. . .

That's where ALLDAY CRANK comes in.

By BROTURES ALLDAY CRANK ¥25,300(in tax)

It is rare to find a PCD144 standard crank with an affordable price in the 20,000 yen range and easy to customize chainrings.
It also comes with a BB, so you can attach it as is, which is a big plus.

I want to update the suspension, but I can't afford to spend all at once.
This is a crank that allows people with such dilemmas to customize it step by step.

As for the design, we kept it simple so that it would match any frame, and we were particular about keeping it from looking boring.
It has a streamlined design reminiscent of the now-defunct Campagnolo Pista, and is available in two colors, black and polished, which were not available in the original model.

If you are thinking of installing a piste on a new car, it is worth keeping this in mind.
This is an essential part for advanced customization, so please consider this opportunity.
