The first time I would like to write about preparation (tapping and facing). Tapping is a task to increase the accuracy of the BB shell before assembling and set up a screwed mountain so that the BB shell and the BB are not damaged.

This time, we will process this 735.

And the tools used this time are BB tapping tools and cutting oil.

At the start of work, check the left and right of the BB tapping tool, put it in the BB shell, turn the tool and cut it until the blade is not visible. At this time, we will work while paying attention to the direction of turning.

Next, it is a facing that adjusts the grounding surface of the 735 BB shell and outboard BB so that it is exactly the same.

Attach this jagged blade to the tapping tool, turn the tool and cut it. If you cut too much, you will not be able to get it back, so we will work carefully.

This completes the preparation. I would like to enter the installation in earnest next time!
