Dontzer x Broturs the 1st Collaboration [...

BROTURES has created a collaboration frame with the brand "Dontzer" of the NJS frame maker for bicycle racing, TR * (Tea R). The first collaboration frame is "Don Classico".

* TR is a manufacturer that has been entrusted with a baton from "Tsuruoka Racing", which created "Bomber Pro" last year, and started a new start as a "TR".

Don Classico is a chromoly frame that allows you to enjoy a full -fledged riding taste that resoles the bicycle racing frame by using the geometry to the bicycle racing frame and using rigid ends. The design features a rugged but quality expression due to a low color that makes use of the texture of the chromoly and a raw welding mark of lagless. From the supple pedaling of chromoly, it can be finished as a strong commuter bike as a city ride or a daily foot.

"Aiming to be a bicycle brand" loved by 3 generations "with a view to 100 years ahead."

Currently, the number of builders that can create handmade frames is decreasing in Japan. In order to keep that technology, it is necessary to develop young builders and inherit their technology. Therefore, Broturs has provided opportunities to develop and inherit the technology through the production of new frames under the existing brand of TR, "Dontzer". I think the BROTURES mission is that bicycles created by this collaboration will be inherited to children and grandchildren, and Japanese manufacturing, and left a piste bike culture.

・ Brand Concept

The origin of Dontzer's naming is the coined word of "Don" and "Keizer". Since the brand concept is "Don = used as a title for high -ranking people", "Don Chromoly" has been referred to as a respect for chromoly technology and the manufacturing.



・ Graphic design

Based on the gothic font of the current logo design, the design of the stencil structure expresses the technique and bicycle inherited. In addition, the two lines on the left express express the two inherited relationships, such as teachers, parents and children, and the future.

It is a brand emblem design that connects "D" and "R" of Dontzer. By connecting R from D, it expresses how technology and bicycle are inherited.

[Model logo]


The model naming follows the "Don" of Dontzer, and is later developed in typefaces that express the characteristics of the frame.

Scene icon]

It is an icon that abstractly expresses the characteristics of the frame. In "Don Classico", the motif was based on running endlessly in the city.

It is a design of the quality display mark that expresses that it is a handmade in Japan.



・ About Builder

Soya Okazaki(TR Co., Ltd.)

Born in Tokyo in 1993. In 2012, he studied frame production and design for three years at Tokyo Cycle Design College (TCD). While at school, he has been a part -time job at the BROTURES Harajuku store for two years. Joined Tsuruoka Racing Co., Ltd. in 2015. In 2021, transferred to TR Co., Ltd. After the strict strength test of the same year, he acquired NJS as a registered "Dontzer".


・ Brand Movie

The Don Classico brand movie was produced along with the Image Branding Partner "Bird and Insect". The movie conveys the desire for builders to work on frame production while interlacing the scenes in the workshop that produces the frame and the riding scene. The movie sound was asked to the sound designer, Go Hiyama, and expressed the sound reminiscent of Japan and the future expectations in frame production because it was a tension.
