Staff bike check ~TJ AFFINITY~

Staff bike check started last month,

Following on from Yokohama store guard dog Mittz and runner Ishida, today we would like to introduce Tojo, also known as TJ, his favorite car.

The car body is AFFINITY METROPOLITAN! !

Actually, this was a hand-me-down from mechanic Kazemura-san.

We changed from an exciting build with thick tires to a custom that gives it a Yokohama-like classic feel.
This image appears in an old textbook.

picture? What? Let's leave that aside for now.
Image is important for customization.
The challenge is how to get closer to the ideal shape.

I don't drive that hard, and I like to relax on my days off by going to a nearby coffee shop or drifting along the river, so I'm more in the mood for this than a sporty custom.

My favorite point is
This wheel is made of ARAYA and DURA-ACE.

The secret is that it is 36H and has a small hub. It made me feel like a keirin expert.

The rim, which claims to be the lightest in its class, reduces the overall weight of the bike, while the combination of SHIMANO's top-of-the-line DURA-ACE provides outstanding ride comfort.

moreover,,,

A classic SUGINO75 CRANK for piste riding.
Moreover, I choseSUPER CERAMIC for BB.
It goes around so much that I don't really understand it.

Both the hub and BB require regular adjustment.
If the performance is one or two times worse,
It is the best part that will improve your rotation by about 5 times.

No matter how you look at it, the staff around me keep saying that it's over spec, but I don't know.

A piste is a world of self-satisfaction.
Anything is OK as long as it's good for you.

The rest is NITTO×SIM WORKS for the handlebars and seatpost.

Made by reliable NITTO, the accuracy is guaranteed, and
SIM's playful parts are definitely the perfect match.

Making the spacer slimy with just one piece,
Well, anyway, I put a lot of effort into it!

As you have read, I put together the design with emphasis on appearance!
I've been riding the 721TR that I bought when I was a Hatachi, so it was refreshing and fun to build the Metropolitan in a classic style.

In fact, I was so confused that it took me about a month to complete it...

I use it for commuting and sometimes have it in stores, so if you're interested in other parts, feel free to take a look.

If you want to assemble chromoly, please feel free to contact me!
