For the past week, there has been a huge hole in my heart.
The big event called CMWC has ended,
Another thing for me.
The DOSNOVENTA crew, who came to Japan from Spain for the CMWC event, has returned to Japan.
In fact, they came to Japan a week before CMWC, and I spent a few days with them!
Among them, today I would like to look back on the memories I made with the friends I became very close with.

 
Gerard Saltor!

A 21-year-old Spanish boy, he works as a BMX instructor in his hometown of Barcelona.
He is an aggressive young man who also rides for DOSNOVENTA!
He also occasionally appears on DOSNOVENTA's Instagram.
If you are a fan of DOSNOVENTA, many of you will probably recognize it.
Even if you don't, I'm sure there are many people who recognize this handsome face.
Yes, that's right!
He made it to the finals in the CRIT race held at CMWC the other day, and did a great job finishing in 4th place!

He has always been a tough runner and has participated in races overseas, and since this was his first time participating in a race in Japan, the BROTURES members were excited and cheered on him from beginning to end.
I was so happy that he could hear me as I screamed until I was completely hoarse. lol
After the race, we congratulated him on his good performance.
I wish I could see such a refreshing expression after running 10km with all my might...
Both men and women are the same. lol
He has a very stoic personality and doesn't smoke or drink.
I saw him so disappointed that he couldn't make it to the podium.
I was able to think again that I should face the bicycle more stoically!
After the race, he said he was really hungry and was craving yakisoba, which he had become addicted to since coming to Japan. lol
Gerard showed me how much he eats, contrary to his appearance, eating 2.5 servings of yakisoba for a total of 2 meals!
By the way!
The two people eating yakisoba together must be familiar to some of them.
They are also DOSNOVENTA riders and came together for this event!
I will introduce them on the blog at a later date.

On the first day of CMWC, we held a special event where customers riding DOSNOVENTA at the BROTURES booth were given autographed T-shirts and stickers.

Just meeting the DOSNOVENTA riders is a valuable experience,
They wanted to give something as a present to the people who ride with them.
As a fellow DOSNOVENTA rider, I am proud to have been able to do a special project like this.
Thanks to CMWC, I was able to have such a wonderful experience with them, and it was a great experience!​He is particularly handsome both when he is running and in everyday life, but since he is only 21 years old, he showed a lot of mischievous side during our stay. lol

We spent time together from morning until night, ate meals together, went to places like Shibuya, Ginza, and Ueno together, and enjoyed Japan to the fullest.
When we were eating, I taught them how to use chopsticks, and I told them Japanese words such as ``Itadakimasu'' and ``Gochisousama.'' Even though it was difficult to communicate with each other in words, I think we were able to connect emotionally.

In the limited time we had, we met through our common hobby of fixie bikes,
I am grateful that we have become friends so far.
I have decided to visit Barcelona, ​​Spain next year,
Once again, I want to do my best both at work and on my fixie bike!
