In November, many people rode piste bikes through BLACK FRIDAY.
In order for you to enjoy piste bikes even more, I would like to introduce my first customization recommendations!
First of all, please check this blog and use it as a reference if you see any parts of the finished car.

That's a cog.
A cog is a part that changes the weight of a piste without variable speed.
By adjusting the number of teeth on the cog and the number of teeth on the chainring, you can change the weight of the pedal, which is known as the gear ratio and has the meaning of shifting.

Most of the finished cars sold at BROTURES have a 16T cog (number of teeth is 16).
On the other hand, most previous chainrings were 48T or 49T.
The gear ratio in that state will be "3.00" or "3.06". This is a little heavy for city riding.
In terms of speed change numbers, it's a 6 out of 7 stages, which can be as heavy as a 7 depending on the person.

Honestly, I think it's a bit tiring to row all the time in that condition. Moreover, fixed gears keep turning, making it difficult to rest your feet.
If so, let's raise the fraction by one and make it 17T.
That way, the gear ratio can be lowered to 2.82 or 2.88.
It feels like a 4.5 to 5.5 gear shift.
This makes it easy for even beginners to ride a sports bike, and provides a gear ratio that gives a sense of speed.

Furthermore, there is a trick called "skid" that I like to try when I get on the piste.
It locks the rear wheels and slides to slow down. This is what everyone dreams of.
The number of teeth "17T" is useful for this purpose.
In the case of 16T, there is a point called skid point where the tires can be scraped when skidding.
There aren't that many. If the chainring is 48T, there is only "1".
If it skids, only one spot will always be scraped off. The tires won't last long with this.
However, if you change to 17T, the skid points will increase to 17. It will wear out your tires evenly.

In fact, almost all BROTURES staff members ride 17T piste.
It has the most convenient number of teeth.
So, I would like you to get started on that first and change it if it remains the same.
Of course, I think it's fine to leave it as is. However, if you want to make it more comfortable, please remember that it is a must have custom parts.
