Tough and violent

A few days have passed since the long-awaited AFFINITY arrived in stock. While I was stocking up on parts to build a custom car, there were a few that were already destined for marriage.

I have all the parts and have assembled the LOPRO, so I would like to introduce it to you.

I tried building this bike with an emphasis on one of the best features of a fixie bike: ``toughness.''
Piste is really sturdy, isn't it? Even if you get drunk and fall down, the bar tape will just be torn. If anything, it's common for me to find myself covered in scars.
Something like this happened to a friend of mine recently. His face was a mess, but his bike was unharmed. Well, that person also has the toughness that is the theme of this article, so I was able to fully recover in about two weeks. lol

Let's put that aside.
Among them, I think this AFFINITY steel frame is by far the toughest. I often see Messenger on board.
I'm sure I'll be able to ride a frame like this for decades when I'm building it, thinking that.

And this time, we selected parts that are even tougher and can be used for a long time.

MICHE PISTARD 2.0 CRANK SET

Direct crank increases rigidity. The simple structure makes it hard to break and easy to care for. The shaft design uses Hollowtech 2, so there are many BB options, so you can upgrade without hesitation. If you add PHILWOOD's BB to this, you won't need to worry about maintenance anymore.



BROTURES WIVER x DURA-ACE TRACK HUB

With the strong WIVER and slightly delicate DURA hub.
Maintenance is essential for DURA hubs! I have the impression that many people have this image in mind.
But surprisingly, that's not the case. It's OK as long as you notice something unusual, such as looseness or loose grease. If the ball wears out, there's always something to replace it with. If you adjust it properly, it will run well. It's a really good hub.
If you take care of it, you can use it for a long time. I don't really recommend it for people who like to leave it exposed to the rain.
There is no doubt about the cost performance and rotational performance, so if you are interested, please try using it once.

Also, it's a very modest point, but I chose 28C tires. Personally, I ride at 28C with harder-feeling tires. I'm hooked on that. It has an exquisite ride that is neither too hard nor limp, making it irresistibly comfortable. Everyone who is addicted to tire swamps should give it a try.

NITTO UI-76 STEM

The area around the handle is NITTO. Since it is a slender frame, the 25.4mm clamp makes it look neat.
Since the frame is strongly slanted forward, the stem is also set at a tight angle to match. If the system is too tight, you can even use the shallower UI-75 !

Campagnolo CHORUS BRAKE SET

Because I can pass the cable through the frame. I don't usually put brakes on exhibition cars, but I did. LOPRO's fork is quite tight and I choose a caliper that can be attached, but if you can't decide, you can't go wrong with this one. It's light, sturdy, and cool. No complaints.

A cool saddle representative. Honestly, even if this one is torn, it will still look good.
It doesn't fit me well and it hurts, but I put up with it and keep using it. And it's torn. lol It goes well with any bicycle, and I think it's okay to have one even if you don't use it.

It was an introduction to LORPO that is full of my tastes and prejudices.

This unique look and unique geometry. It's a frame that makes you feel like you're controlling a shrew. It's hard to say that it's easy to ride or insanely fast, but it's fun to be able to control such a curved car.
