It's a little late, but thank you to everyone who participated in the group ride on May 18th!
This time, we had visitors ranging from people living near our Kichijoji store to people who drove all the way from Zushi, and we are very grateful.
I am always grateful for your help.
It was a pleasant ride in good weather, where we worked up a good sweat and were both refreshing and a great workout!

This time, the ride heads north from Kichijoji to Asahi Lake and Doman Green Park in Toda City, Saitama Prefecture .
It was a slightly long ride, 17km one way, about an hour, but it was a very pleasant ride, perhaps because we were riding along roads brimming with greenery!
I didn't really understand it, but apparently we were running through the sacred grounds of "Your Lie in April."
It turned into a pilgrimage ride without me realizing it. I think it might be good to do a ride like that in the future.

We left the Kichijoji store, crossed the quaint train tracks, drove along the green streets of Oizumigakuen, got lost in a complicated alleyway, and walked down a steep hill...

Despite all that, we discovered Arakawa!

After crossing the large bridge over the Arakawa River, you will arrive at Saiko Doman Green Park, a beautifully maintained municipal park along the Saiko reservoir on the Arakawa riverbed!

Spread out a large picnic sheet and start your picnic!
Everyone brought food, and some even brought mini tents and simple cooking equipment.
It was a very fulfilling picnic!

The test ride event began on the cycling road, with participants swapping bikes and having a great time!
The best part of group rides is being able to ride different bikes than usual and talk about your love of cycling.

We cleaned up properly and then disbanded.

By the way, masked mechanic "Macky" from the Kichijoji store also joined us along the way.
I was a bit worried that it might break out into a brawl, but we managed to get through it.
They were enjoying the picnic.

Once again, we are very grateful to all the different people who participated, from near and far, and with all sorts of different bicycles.
Our next group ride is scheduled for a Sunday in June .
