My favorite car GANGSTA. It's been more than a year since I started.

I use it for my daily commute and short outings on holidays, so I use it almost every day.

I occasionally aired the tires and cleaned and oiled the chain, but the frame was dirty all over, and the spokes were covered in rubber scum, so it was starting to get pretty dirty.
It rained the other day, and I was a little worried about water collecting inside the frame.

With that in mind, we have overhauled GANGSTA.

An overhauled bicycle is worth more than a new car.

Well, the person who overhauled my car this time was Ishida, a mechanic staff member next to Bro.

After all, Ishida is my GANGSTA fan.
It's not "I made you do it", it's "I made you do it", right? lol.

First of all, this

In this way, only the frame remains.

Wipe and clean the frame.

BB is particularly susceptible to water accumulation.
Also, if the grease is missing, the parts will stick and you won't be able to remove them, or the metal will rub against each other, causing the parts, or worse, the screw threads of the frame to collapse.

Make sure to thoroughly lubricate this area during regular overhauls.

Remove each part one by one and clean it.
I will pay close attention to every detail. All of my mechanics are very detailed. lol

By the way, the very popular chain cleaning is included in the overhaul, so I would like to announce it for now.

The crank area and wheels are especially clean. The finished product will look like this.

I headed home right away on my newly overhauled, shiny bike.

Honestly, the ride quality has changed a lot.

Here are the changes I noticed with this overhaul.

- Sense of stability <br>Perhaps the steering wheel or wheels have shifted without you noticing during your daily commute.
I had been running without realizing it until now, but thanks to the readjustment, my sense of stability has been restored and it has become much easier to run.

・Remove looseness
The BB and crank must have loosened little by little without me noticing.
Thanks to having them re-torqued and tightened them, the slight noise disappeared and pedaling felt more direct. It's much better than before the overhaul .

・Clean parts <br>Parts must be clean after all.
In particular, mud tends to accumulate around the drive, which can easily cause abnormal noises.
The drivetrain is now silent thanks to not only cleaning the chain but also having the teeth of the chainrings carefully blown out one by one.
Mere dirt is not a taste. It is always better to keep the parts clean.

I could feel the difference in my eyes and skin before and after the overhaul.
Thanks to you, my daily commute has become much more pleasant. lol
