Today's blog is a check of a customer's assembled bike.
After various customizations, the final customization was the replacement.
And the customization begins again. Fixie bikes are an eternal pastime.

The selected frame will be AFFINITY METROPOLITAN.
I replaced it from chromoly to chromoly, but if the design was changed, the ride quality would be completely different.

This is the current state.

Here is what it looks like after being replaced.

The original frame was light blue, so it was replaced with a similar color, but the atmosphere is completely different.

Inspired by bicycle racing, it is coming to the home of bicycle racing.
This model is completely re-imported. Of course, since it is a Japanese specification, the brakes are internal, and the finish is beautiful even with the brakes attached.

The size is XS, so the frame shape is sloping, but sizes S and above have a horizontal design.
This model has an authentic bicycle racing look. This is one of the frames I want too.

This person has a slightly unusual customization. It's changing the wheel size.

This is that wheel. Usually fixie bikes are 700C, but I changed the rim size to 650B.
This is quite a niche custom.
As a result, we were able to further increase the tire clearance of METROPOLITAN, which was originally compatible up to 35C.

Moreover, what changes when the wheel size changes? It is standover height.
The height of the frame is simply lowered a little, making the inseam easier and giving you a wider range of riding options.
If that happens, the issue of height will become easier to overcome, and a variety of people will be able to enjoy piste bikes.
I think it's a niche item, but I think it's a custom that people who are into it will definitely get into.

Since requests like this don't come often, we haven't had many opportunities to talk with them, so it was a great opportunity to have them.
A fixie bike is a custom that doesn't fit into a conventional model.
