I want something that I can use mainly around town, but also use on the racetrack. I want something that looks simple and is easy to use. I want something that I can buy for under 30,000 yen. This time, I laid out these options on the table and had many discussions.

First of all, the specs.

The 49T chainring teeth and crank spider PCD of 144 are very versatile and can be customized to other brands' chainrings. The gear ratio is just right when using the commonly used 15T-18T cog.

The chainring is particularly noteworthy.

The material used is 7075 aluminum, which is extremely hard, so it's not just rigid, but also converts pedaling force into maximum power. Furthermore, because it's made to be as close to a perfect circle as possible, there's almost no "strange noise" or "chain rattle" that was a problem with previous inexpensive cranks.

Next up is the design. This is also something we spent a lot of time discussing.

If it's too simple it's boring, and if it's too flashy it will distract from the outside appearance of the bike. The main focus is on the bike itself, so we went for a mature design that brings out its appeal.

I personally like the LEADER black frame with silver crank. I feel like there really weren't any cranks that looked simple, were reasonably priced, and worked well.

The reason is that with the recent price hike, bicycle parts are also getting more and more expensive, and among them, cranks are priced at 50,000 to 100,000 yen, which is the average price for the current track crank lineup. This ALLDAY crank breaks into that range. To be honest, I think it stands out for its performance and the convenience of being a complete set in this price range.
