DON FANGO - HARAJUKU CUSTOM

The second collaboration frame between DONTZER's NJS builder and BROTURES, "DON FANGO", is now available for pre-order from Wednesday, April 10th.

This is an adventure bike with a different design from the pure track bike "DON CLASSICO" inspired by Keirin.

Activities that require versatility, such as off-road activities and track cross racing, are steadily gaining attention year by year. To be honest, I think there are many people who have been looking for a frame that can be their companion in such situations.
Of course, it's also great for commuting or everyday use in urban areas.

This frame can be customized in so many different ways, so for those who have already placed an order or are considering it, I would encourage you to pay attention to every detail!

So, here is a complete look at the Harajuku customs that everyone is curious about.

DONTZER x BROTURES DON FANGO FRAME SET ¥176,000 (tax included)

Yeah, I'm sure you've all seen it before. Because the one I posted at the time of release is actually the one I customized in Harajuku.
*Details about the frame are written →here← , so please take a look there first.

This time I will write a blog focusing on the parts used for customization.

Let's start with the wheels.

BROTURES WIVER x BROTURES TRACK HUB

The frame is capable of fitting thicker tires, so WIVER rims are used to make full use of them.

The polished finish creates a great contrast with the elegant Jaguar green color. Of course, the hubs and spokes are also silver.

Since I'm at it, I'll use this thicker one for the tires.

MAXXIS ALL TERRANE

Cyclocross tires provide speed and stability, but they are also fine for riding around town.

You can ride it on rough roads without worrying, and it's stable so you can ride it in a rougher way.

And the crank and chain look like this.

BLUE LUG RMC CRANK SET
HKK VERTEX TRACK RACER CHAIN Silver

The authentic look goes well with FANGO.

It's reasonably priced, and since it has a PCD of 144, it's easy to customize the chainring.

The chain is NJS certified and highly durable.
However, the biggest reason I included this is because it's "silver". Lol The impression changes depending on the chain, so if you're the type of person who "uses cheap ones without worrying about anything," try to pay attention to it the next time you replace your chain.

Next up is the handlebar area. I'll introduce you to the head parts and brakes all at once!

THOMSON ALUMINUM RISER BAR

THOMSON X4 STEM
THOMSON SPACER KIT
PHILWOOD 1-1/8" HEADSET

PAUL CANTI LEVER
OURY MOUNTAIN GRIP

PAUL MOTOLITE
BYCRUISE Paracord Brake Cable

The basic components are all from "THOMSON", the head parts which are subject to stress are from the highly durable and reliable "PHILWOOD", and the brake parts are from "PAUL", making this an incredibly luxurious specification.

Of course, we even pay attention to the brake cables.

As you can see from the video, riser handlebars are a must if you're riding on mountain roads. And OURY grips are the gold standard.

The brakes should have more stopping power and look cooler.

A custom that truly captures diversity.
I personally think that the parts have been selected to provide excellent performance both on and off-road, and also to look good, in other words to satisfy the desire to own it .

The saddle area that supports such enjoyable riding looks like this.

fizik AIDON X3 TERRA Kium rail
THOMSON ELITE SEAT POST
THOMSON SEATPOST COLLAR

We deliberately chose the more durable Elite model seat post.
If you value lightness, choose Masterpiece.

Finally, add a little fun to this place too.

RUNWELL PUNKBOLT

The FANGO has dowel holes for attaching a drink holder or something similar, but if you don't have any use for them, then why not attach the PUNKBOLT instead!

Although there is no difference in performance because it is installed, it will improve your mood and you will definitely be able to ride better than usual.

So, at the Harajuku store we tried customizing it like this.

I would like to go into more detail about the parts, but I don't want to go into that because it would make the blog too long and difficult to read. If you have any questions, please come to the store. Or feel free to contact us on LINE!

Only 15 units are produced to order.
We are already accepting orders, and thankfully we are seeing an increase in orders and inquiries.
If you are even slightly interested, please feel free to contact us.

By the way, the actual car is also on display in the store, so if you'd like to see it in person or ride it, please come and visit us!
